In November of 2015, Morichal Corp, represented by its General Manager Mr.Thierry Dumoulin and the Logistics Manager Mr. Luis Davila were invited to visit the bond paper factories of International Paper in Mogi GuaÇu. Mogi GuaÇu is located at the outskirts of Sao Paolo, Brasil. Morichal Corp also had the opportunity to visit their International Paper main offices located in Sao Paolo and meet with their specialized export team. Among the specialized personnel, it was of great relevance to meet with the Sales General Manager Mr. Sidine Vieira and Sales Manager Mr. Marcelo Scarpanti responsible for Panama and the Caribbean area.
On the 25th of November, when Morichal Corp went to Brasil, a very thorough visit was led by International Paper. This visit involved the whole process of conversion of the tree into pulp and the elaboration of bond paper. This process involves the planting of the eucalyptus, which takes 7 years to grow. When the trees have grown to a specific height and are ready for them to be removed, they are taken to the International Paper Factory where they are transformed into pulp. Once this stage is obtained, it’s processed chemically in order to manufacture bond paper in paper bobbins and reams. It’s of excellent quality and its whiteness is 98 % pure. International Paper, at this present moment has four bond paper factories in Brasil.
Among the conversations that were held by Morichal Corp and International Paper, it was agreed that Morichal Corp would launch in the Latin-American market its own brand Morichal Corp with the bond paper reams. Morichal Corp also made an order to International Paper and International Paper agreed on a schedule of embarking and delivery of the product for 2016.
MORICHAL CORP AND INTERNATIONAL PAPER have an alliance that allows them to work in an efficient way and at competitive prices benefiting the Latin-American market in every way.
